Rather than go to what was reportedly an excellent meal at the country club I grew up at we visited the independent living center my children's maternal grandmother is at. The food was acceptable and plentiful. I spent time with my family and took my daughter to ride her horse. It was nice in a period when I have been working too many hours. A nice glass of wine (House 9 of Pope;) and some football on TV made for a pleasant end to the day.
