You would Not believe the commercials Gm decided to pound on TV up here in Canada lately.
the adds are all about their new HUGE new Catillacs (sp) and the HUGE horsepower they can deliver. As in when you need to make a fast getaway.
Of all the idiotic things they might do, this says it all.
These guys truely have their head in the sand and the money they get is going to go nowhere.
THe 21st century car should be all about cheap electric commuter cars that go about 35-45mph tops.
Also if they could be narrow enough; about 4'6" tops you can take <<two lanes plus parking>> of road and turn it into three lanes plus parking for electric cars only.
The bigger vehicles or even standard size vehicles that need to get to the inner city can simply use two lanes, but they will have no street parking as it will now be too narrow for anything except the electric commuter.
Yeah Yeah it sounds silly, but the truth is this would work.
