Re: "Buddy, Obama has said that more than once and in more than one way.... In any case, I'm willing to concede the point."

Geoff... I don't care if you 'concede' or not. (But thanks, thus the same!) I wasn't asking for that. (Stuff like personalities doesn't mean all that much to me.)

All I know is that I've posted DIRECT QUOTES... and you have posted some DIRECT QUOTES --- but *none of 'em* say what Peter claimed was a quote.

So... until and unless someone can come up with some mystery here-to-for unknown quote, than I'll remain firm in my believe that Obama never said that he wanted to "invade" "sovereign allies".

Rather, he CLEARLY STATED that he wanted to STRIKE TERRORIST TARGETS (if Pakistan was 'unable or unwilling' to strike them).

And... that President Bush has *already* implemented that policy as AMERICAN NATIONAL POLICY... and we've acted on it more than a DOZEN times already, just since this summer.

With (what most folks 'in-the-know' say) has been GREAT EFFECT!
