that President Bush has *already* implemented that policy as AMERICAN NATIONAL POLICY... and we've acted on it more than a DOZEN times already, just since this summer.

IMO, Bush would have done this regardless whether it was BOs policy or not being it's too demoralizing and dangerous not to.

I've very mixed feelings about Afghanistan. IMO we'll never get the results there that we've gotten in Iraq nor should we try. Our only goal there should be to wipe out the taliban and AQ and then get the hell out of Dodge............This could be done with the help of the Paks. One thing about the region, it may be hard to get into but it's equally hard to escape from.......
