I think the absolute bottom for most shares, gold or BM's will be the fall of 2009. The trough may be 24 months. Not long if you say it fast.

Some deals may in time, as things shake out, reverse the equation. I believe there is always an "it all depends" part of every equation.

Remember we already had a mining debacle. It lasted from 1998 to 2001. 36 months. It took 2 years to get hot. 2001 to 2003 and it was obvious where everything was going.

Sun spots are 11 year cycles. Hares are 7 years. I find Canada Mines Handbook stocks are 5 to 7. Troughs are about 3 years from penultimate low to trend back up clearly.
