"I can see how American cars would look good after a TR-6!" I loved that car. Despite the Lucas electrics which made troubleshooting a game of infinite possibilities. And the top that leaked like a reamed out sieve. And replacing the oil filter was an absolute nightmare... But, with the top down and you butt just a few inches off the asphalt, mash the throttle and it would squat and take off like scalded cat. Toss it into a turn in a full 4 wheel drift, feather the throttle and those big tires would bite in and it would scoot off like it was on rails. It was the most fun I ever had in an automobile that didn't involve one or more women.
