>>> Listen to the people on this thread bash US cars as trash.

Even today, people bash Hyundais as "trash" -- even though they're one of the best cars available in America today. The fact is they WERE trash.

Yet, Hyundai seems to be doing okay, even thought they're selling vehicles at lower prices than almost any other major manufacturer. How's that work?

The answer, of course, is that labor costs are controlled (after all, steel and plastic are world commodities).

GM's "marketing problem" due to perception is NOTHING compared to what Hyundai has had to overcome. The difference is that Hyundai is able to control (perhaps to an extreme) their labor costs.

This libshit is easy, as Steve would say. I'm actually getting TIRED of running over you guys on this topic. Can we move on to something where you're at least a TAD competitive? Global warming? Energy? The war in Iraq? Anything. I'm tired of kicking your asses all over the place on this subject.
