Sat next to owner of local HK broker. He knows a guy on peak who sold his house for fast cash for 50pct of mkt price. He says he needs to let go of 10pct staff soon, and another 15 pct in 1Q09. The only reason their cash flow still ok is volatility. His fear is market goes sideways at bottom next year.
