The absence of any energy policy by the United States means that this country will become more and more beholden to Canada--and even more so if the U. S. ever does realize that it needs a huge investment in nuclear energy. Current low oil prices are just going to delay by several more years any intelligent effort by the United States to develop anything resembling energy independence.
