At least most economists having expressed their opinion to the press here fairly rapidly started expressing their opinion, that in hindsight it was a mistake not to bail out Lehmann. In foresight they didn't express that opinion. You suppose if we go into a depression after the big three fail that the economists "in hindsight" might say it was a mistake not to bail them out?
