XO Creates Attractive Offering for Multi-System Operator (MSO) Market to Meet Growing Bandwidth and Voice Services Demand

HERNDON, VA--(MARKET WIRE)--Dec 3, 2008 -- XO Communications (OTC BB:XOHO.OB - News) today announced that it has been selected by WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone (WOW!), an MSO and competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC), to provide high-speed, low-latency Gigabit Ethernet IP Transit circuits and Voice Termination services in major metropolitan markets across the Midwestern United States.Under the terms of the agreement, XO will provide the aforementioned products and services to support the growing bandwidth requirements of the WOW! subscriber base in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. WOW! will benefit from XO's proven network performance, scalable bandwidth capacity, cost-effective delivery and extensive wholesale voice experience.
