Are all farmers "wards of the state" because we make farming "too attractive to get an education"?

Some are. A former client of mine is a farmer in Eastern Arkansas who had over 1M in debt with annual sales of only a few hundred thousand dollars. They could scarcely cover their repairs & maintenance. Yet, they continue to this day to receive government backed loans and subsidies. These people are effectively wards of the state. They'll never turn a profit.

But at least they're TRYING. The UAW, by getting overcompensation for its members by extortion, effectively commits these people to a life as an overpaid unskilled worker who has no future OTHER than with the UAW. And the UAW's days are numbered. Now, they're begging for money, admittedly by proxy, from the government.

Yes, they've created a membership comprised of wards of the state.
