our diesel prices are now about half what they were at the peak last summer....that peak brought over a 1000 trucking firms to their knees and filed BK, though, and i'm reading that truckers are dealing with empty hauls now....these guys just can't win agree with you on the 'stickiness' of price increases on packaged food.... once that .99 bag of chips goes to $1.29, you rarely see those go back, but in this environment i wouldn't totally rule it out
