Simply put, Harper's mistake was attempting to govern as if he had a majority when he didn't

That's not a judgment one way or the other, or an explanation as to why he would try to do such a thing, just an unbiased description of what happened

If he gets another chance I'd hazard a guess he won't make the same mistake a second time
