I did read parts of it. It said that there were no WMDs found, although there was evidence of idle capacity that could be restarted. And we all know there was intent. But that begs the question. If we want to invade every country that has an idle capacity or are even further along, then why didn't we invade Iran or North Korea? Why don' we invade Pakistan and Russia and China? At what point does this whole thing get silly?

I don't like any of the above getting anywhere near nukes, but the fact is that we can't afford to fight wars with everyone. $800B later and we're still fighting in Iraq and our country is perilously close to bankruptcy. That was just one major war. How much more do you think China will lend us for our wars? Not much more, I assure you.

I'd much rather see us become oil independent, then we can give the finger to all the Middle East countries and let them blow each other all to hell. Then we can spend American money on Americans and focus on commerce instead of war.
