THis whole battery thing is silly. There are lots of cheap batteries out there that will take an electric car 70-100 miles. GMs own elusive electric technology of the 90's worked out just fine. The car was too successful. Shit, fork lift technology does just fine. Also the GEM golf cart cars can go 50mph. All they have to do basically is turn a screw. Look up the Zenn car out of Montreal. THey are developing a cheap battery and drive train that will do just fine. As I said before there is no need for all this Hi-tech Lithium-ion stuff right now. scott
