Here comes the insider gus show us all how much he know about disk drives but dispite all this show off the basic problem remains, that the margins are falling and Seagate is not making money and the stock continues to fall.

I do not care about how so call smart gus claims to be. He was wrong about how Seagate and dear old Al was getting the act together at 45 amd at 40. The purpose of owning Seagate is to make money not to be happy about some of their disk drives. We put owners have been right.

It is also interesting that if gus the insider is right that good old Al is getting people from WDC and Quantum, my point made months ago is correct that good old Al does not have a vision for the future and that he needs help from the competition.

Answer a simple and basic question gus, since you know so much, is Seagate still cutting prices on its disk drives and if so how can the company make enough profit to support a price of 30, 40 , 50. Using a very simple model of say a forward PE of 15 that means that Seagate has to make $2.00, $2.66, $3.33. The company can not just sell more great disk drives, it must make a good margin on them. The competition is not going to stand still either.

Good old Al refuses to answer this simple question, because he knows one either he can not hold margins or he has no clue. Either way this company is in real trouble.
