Not only that, but the benefits! I got to pick whatever drunken, left-out, unchosen lady I wanted at the end of the evening to console, if I hadn't already lined up one of the more desirable ones! One summer I worked a 4 to midnight shift. Would go to the bars afterwards and be the only sober person... easy pickings.
