Speaking of Tom Petty.. I saw him live in concert in Sydney Australia in 1985, he had Bob Dylan playing with him on all of his songs, and Dylan did a 4 song guitar and vocal solo at the mid point of the show.

Trememdous show.... I may still have a new concert Tshirt from that show. Everyone who came to Sydney when I was their in the mid 1980's; from Bill Gates all the way through to Tom Petty, Stevie Ray Vaughn...... all seemed to be particularly invigorated and enthusiastic about being in Sydney and over in that part of the world.

Matter of fact, I saw a stage production of "Camelot" with Richard Harris in the starring role... he was exceptional.

Maybe the best music I heard was a Bach recital at the Sydney Opera house, the perforance of his Fugue in D minor was monumental. Noted Bass player Jack Bruceof the Cream suggested that JS Bach was the orginal bass player - composer.
