One of the seven colleges at my alma mater is Industrial and Labor Relations, a.k.a. ILR or "I Love Reading." My sophomore year roommate was in that school.

I wonder if those students and professors can answer your questions. I mean, it's a basic problem, no? If technology reduces the need for low-skill labor, what do you do with the resulting rise in unemployment?
