Three-fourth fraction is the tricky one. You must type &# followed by the number 190 or type & followed by frac34. In both cases there are no spaces. If you edit your post you will have to re-enter the fraction because it will change to _.

For one-half you can hold down the (alt) key and type 171 from the numeric keypad of the keyboard or type &# followed by the number 189 or type & followed by frac12.

For one-fourth you can hold down the (alt) key and type 172 from the numeric keypad or type &# followed 188 or type & followed by frac14.

¬ and « are not effected by editing like &#190.

Many places will now support &frac38, &frac58, and &frac78 for 3/8, 5/8, and 7/8 respectively; however, SI is not one of those places.
