I'm hoping that Bush will run out the clock on this one and let the Democrats take responsibility for this bailout. It will be a disaster unless the companies are cleansed through a bankruptcy filing.

I strongly suspect that the taxpayers will end up footing the bill for the legacy retirement costs.
