(About Friedman's call for the Democratic elements inside Pakistani society to stand up and resist both the murderous Theocratic Islamicists *and* the anti-democracy traditional strongmen from the military who have ruled over Pak. for so long... and who are in a 'co-dependent' relationship with the fundamentalist Islamicists....)
