Derek or anyone, have you ever seen the first version of Zerox's Ventura Publisher (VP)? No, but I find your story very interesting. I never saw Windows 1.2. Actaully my first PC experience came in 1985 when a company I worked for got me a IBM 286 with EGA Graphics! I don't think I saw Windows until '87. I went out and searched around but couldn't find anything from search engines. I gotta friend who used VP in '87 and probably still has it loaded up on his old 286! I'll ask him about VP and windows. Perhaps $ill stole it from them like so many other things Microsoft has innovated! <gg> BTW, did you see the movie Revenge, no I mean Triumph of the Nerds on PBS? If you didn't catch it keep an eye out for it as it has some very intersting computer history... Derek
