THEY (in their headline!) said "It's official"... not me. Than I said it wasn't and you defended the paper. Even if you hadn't (and you did), quoting other people saying "its official" without disagreeing with the people you quote (or at least without expressing the disagreement as part of the conversation) isn't exactly you "saying all along" that its not official. Also "The government (WH included...) mostly defaults to referring to N.B.E.R.'s official dating" is your statement, not the papers.
