Whistling past the graveyard? ...The "OJ" Bull trap bounce?

Well... whatever it is... I think it's safe to say that we are now in uncharted territory.

Not that there aren't similarities in past market cycles, but recovery from this sucker will be unlike any that came before it. There will be no "recovery" unless the U.S. banking and finance industries decrease as a proportion of both revenue and profits during and after the recovery.

Yet banking and finance customarily hold the keys to all the economic growth engines in this peculiar form of corporate capitalism we developed after the Civil War.

The next couple of years may well look more like a wild west show... than the tragic comedy I've been looking for. Although... I expect I'll be getting more "irony" than the law allows no matter what the screen writer does with it.
