Especially on these high profile tests. They always adjust the tests to get the right answers.

For [at least] the second time this year, they have done exactly what Carl Sagan and other liberal nitwits said couldn't be done -- they've kinetically killed a small target moving at a high rate of speed. This was what Reagan proposed with SDI. Now, he said at the time that it may take "20 years or longer" to achieve, and he was right about that. But they have done it.

You ought to give the man credit for his vision; when he conceived the idea, Reagan's own science advisor had doubts about it. It may take another 20 years, but there is little doubt that we can build a missile defense shield just as Reagan imagined.

The question is whether the liberals (like Obama) will allow it to occur. As you know, it is expensive to get the technology where it needs to be. But once there, we have something of value in that no nation will be able to threaten us with missiles.

If Obama cuts back funding, we'll lose valuable time in getting the system to a deployable state. But it is clearly going to happen, if the country doesn't go broke first. Perhaps not in our lifetimes.
