Aha! Then you and I are aberrations in that we keep our cars forever. Most owners get rid of their cars after 5 or so years. I've had one car for 16 years and the other 8, but then again, I'm a frugal guy, as you appear to be as well. Most Americans aren't that responsible with their money.
