M2, i love Knighty, but i think he has political amnesia about the mother of all internet bubbles caused by the beginning of the mother of all credit bubbles under bill clinton's watch.

heck, i even remember him railing on greenspan during clinton's administration. i also recall questioning why greenspan didn't put some kind of limit on margin calls to fight the bubble at the time.

i have a better memory, which is why i can't stand any of the narcissistic, pathological liar presidents.

yes, bush was worse than clinton, but clinton was the genesis of a major move in the credit bubble... not to mention faking productivity numbers and yelling "new economy" in the middle of the credit bubble theater.

all those things were evil and a definite stepping stone that led to where we are today. bush added a few more stepping stones, though.

both parties are guilty as sin.
