Bankruptcy is a symptom not a cause. You have no imagination. You think that just because you haven't seen it before, it can't be done.

Sad.

The government does provide housing, sort of, in times of dire need like the aftermath of Katrina and Ike. It also provides military housing and very nice housing to multimillionaires Cheney and Dumbya. I have no problem joining with the rest of the country to evict them, do you?

As it is, the government doesn't need to provide housing if wages keep pace with inflation which they haven't done for a very long time. Government does need to provide the laws and regulations that prevent negative amortization, teaser adjustable rates, 120% of value, 10x income mortgages on over inflated homes.

Government also needs to provide the laws and regulations that prevent the massive consolidation (doing a really good job providing $140 billion in tax breaks for bank consolidation right now) of the financial industry making for a system that can get blown over in light wind. Government should make these things solid and robust instead of the house of cards run by a handful of frauds that they are.

You still don't understand much about this do you.
