The D word is being flung around with gay abandon these days. Typical usage: <If we look at the prices of various Treasury bonds and bills - they keep going DOWN. The money supply is still dropping, even as the FEDs' balance sheet is growing.

You can bet the velocity of money is still dropping.

DEFLATION continues.

PS: On reflection, "gay abandon" is a twofer = archaic usage which is fun, but gay abandon is actually correct in modern usage judging by the HIV rate among male proponents of the practise as caution, monogamy, care and circumspection are cast to the winds. The D word is pandemic! Whether Big Ben, Kashkari and co can kill the disease before deflationary cascading catastrophe goes critical is an open question. Fleets of helicopters are buzzing the skies [though they seem to studiously avoid our house, so the problem can't be too serious].
