So would you agree that a tip, without anything else, isn't probable cause for a warrant to be issued? In this case there isn't likely to be anything else. If there wasn't anything to support the tip, then how could a warrant be issued? The answer could be simply that some officer manufactured supporting probable cause for the sake of the warrant. If so, that officer committed a felony.
