I realize liberals have a bias against profit and anything that smacks of capitalism,

And we realize that republicans have a bias against paying their bills but the reality is there is only so far you can go adding a trillion dollar healthcare subsidy to your debt every year.

I know, you are a child when it comes to economics but think about it. We Americans spend over 2 trillion per year on healthcare with 550 billion of it coming from the federal govt, and that number is set to balloon to 32 trillion to pay for the baby boom retirement.

Can we afford this, since Bush just doubled the national debt to pay for basically nothing? Where are we going to get the 32 trillion?

It doesn't matter if fools like you (who obviously don't RUN ANYTHING otherwise you would know our healthcare system is killing US corps) are satisfied or if the Canadians are satisfied. We don't have a workable situation now, period.

Admit it- you are 17 years old right? never had to balance a checkbook?
