Not the most conservative or libertarian thing to do, but hey, if we're going to spend our way out of this recession, we might as well spend it on something productive.

I don't know that he will carry through with it, but I have to say that I'd be a lot more comfortable with committing money to specific projects than just throwing money at the problem which is what they're doing now.

Some will argue the Iraq War was Bush's big blunder. I think this ill-conceived bailout involving hundreds of billions of wasted money is the worst mistake he's made.
