I had an interesting experience today. I was sitting in the car this afternoon at 2:40, warming it up so I could pick up Jon after school. Right in front of my house. Dewey Ave. just north of the Robert Crown skating facility (home of Shawnee Davis). A car with 4 people in it pulled up to the curb, 20 feet in front of me, and a kid (16? 17?) from across the street walked over to the passenger side and handed something to the occupants. A couple of words were exchanged and some money was passed from the car to the kid. The car sped away.

I've had some sinus congestion and a persistent cough for a bit and my sister prescribed Alegra (antihistamine) and Benzonatate (antibiotic) this morning. After picking Jon up I headed over to the Jewel-Osco on Central to pick get these. Turns out they can't fill the Alegra prescription unless the doctor calls the insurance company and lets them know what it's for so it can be pre-approved.

I know most see nothing odd about this. May you spend the next 50 years taking your shoes off at the airport and die from some substance introduced to the municipal water supply.
