The example you gave (racial) agrees with the post I provided so your designation of 'pure BS' is irrational. Interracial partners were restricted by law from cohabitating when not married, they were restricted by laws of society and by the doctrines of faith. They were disadvantaged, discriminated against, and denied opportunity if they tried to circumvent those ordinances. I've not seen that complaint in the gay community. I hear a vague complaint about rights and freedoms but it doesn't pan out in substantial measures.

If the best you can do is name call and claim historians will mock me then you obviously have no real argument.
