Rick, I listened to the phone conference a couple of more times (from my tape). It’s interesting how long it takes things that you hear to sink in. A few new things that I learned follows:

1.) PRLN has not determined how they will address the market, but it is clear that they will go through DSHEA (dietary supplement) first and then may go the INDA (FDA) path after. Market after discovery is 9-15 months for DSHEA and 24 months for INDA.

2.) PRLN drugs are less likely to have the HIV virus become resistant to their drugs than the current 3 drug cocktail now being used by the major drug companies.

3.) The PN355 combinational approach to address 3 targets can be used to lower the dose, increase safety, and lower the cost for treatment.

4.) PRLN has an improved pathway for treatment over the NIH model. PRLN has 1 good active component for the NIH model and 15 active compounds for the PRLN pathway model. I interpret this to suggest that PRLN has the ability to create various combinations of compounds that prevent HIV virus resistance.

The more times I listen, the more I hear. I will go through this exercise again in a few days. If you have any insight to contradict or enhance these thoughts please post them. Your hearing and understanding can be combined to provide us all with better understanding. One thing I do know is that we really have a winner here and besides making the world a better place, we will be very well rewarded for our investment.
