I don't want laws to be dictated by religious leaders or based on fundamentalist precepts (e.g. ban on all abortion, ban on divorce, ban on contraception, ban on women working, ban on stem cell research etc., etc.). I don't have any problem with individuals practicing their religion in private so long as it conforms with the law of the land.
