Today I am sad because the growth on our Golden's lip has turned out to be a melanoma. We are going to do the surgery depending upon how invasive it is and there is a chemo for melanoma that would buy about two years. She is another heart dog and just wants to be with us. We shall see... any pain.... we will rethink the whole thing for her benefit. It is hard to face this, but love says do it. She will be 13 on the 11th of this month.

Fran, I'm very sorry to hear this. You, your family, and especially Maggie will be in my prayers.
