LC, One example of an equivalent in the U.S. is DXO, a 2X oil bull ETN. I own it down around these levels. I tried to buy HOU but there is no pink sheet symbol (I'm in the U.S.).

Note: There have been concerns on this thread and other threads that ETFs and ETNs like DXO suffer from a "slippage" problem over time and are not suitable for long-term B&H, only for trades. I don't know if that applies to DXO which is an ETN, or HOU, but I'm hoping for a considerable bounce in oil over the next few months and so I'm using DXO to try to take advantage if and when such a bounce occurs.
