MOre on C6 patent issue:
Rob,
As far as this line of investigation and my timing well
until 2 weeks ago I really did not consider the C6 as
much of a product but now things have changed and the
C6 is a very important product for IDT so the possibility
of an Intel suit needs exploring who knows maybe some x86
patent expert out there may read this and respond

My focus is to try and determine the risk of a possbile suit as one
of several factors that would impact the value/price of IDT stock.

There are 2 parts to the suit question:
1.Will Intel file suit.

I am trying to put together the chronology of the amd 486
suit. The C6 has been public for 6 months and product is allready
shipping.....Did Intel file the amd suit before or after amd
began shipping the am486? Anyone know?I will go back thru
amd and intel 94 10k's and try and figure this one out.

2.If sued can IDT defend itself.

IDT's position concerning the crawford patent and cross
licensing this should be easy to find out.
Beyond this issue I do not have a clue but this has
never stopped me from looking.
