The WSJ article says cheap PCs are good for CPQ, because CPQ will sell more PCs, may be good for modem makers like US Robotics because more modems could be sold, but may be bad for disk drive makers like SEG and WDC.
Have the box makers reported to the WSJ or to the analysts or to us shareholders that disk drives are not going to be part of these cheap PCs?
Or have the brilliant analysts figured out that cheap PCs don't need disk drives, anyway, and that's why cheap PCs don't need disk drives?

As a staff reporter, Susan Pulliam is doing a good job on repeating the bullshit she is told by analysts.
