Be careful trading these ETF's especially if it's longer than a daytrade. Check out this Message 25245293 In particular note: Basically, you can be dead right on the way a certain index will move in the next few weeks, but unless you are sure of the percentage move each day, then returns can suffer, possibly to the point of losing money altogether. More and more I'm convinced these ETF's are just an another vehicle to screw the retail investor, they are great to day trade and even then you have to be sharp and stay one step ahead of the mm's
