That is not a very good list. There are also some contradictions - oil related companies (Baker, Schlumberger, Ultra Petroleum) vs. Rolls Royce (main business is selling jet engines to airlines)

High oil prices --> Slow economy and high jet fuel prices --> lower demand for jet plane engines, even fuel efficient ones.

Also, Rolls Royce competitors are GE (US), Pratt & Whitney (US) and Snemca (France)

Guess which companies will continue to benefit from the massive US defense spending ? (F 18, F 16, F 22 F 35, UAV programs, etc.)

Guess which companies would benefit from a Defense led industrial policy to move the US ahead in jet engine design ?
