Joshua, see my previous post explaining trading. My point was that investors THINK trading is expensive because the commission is visible. The extra amount that you are probably paying for your stock (which exceeds the commission savings) is not visible. The old saying "you get what you pay for". And in case someone asks, I do not work for Schwab nor do I own stock in Schwab. Just a big fan.
