It is honest, but it is ignorant. There were many failed investments during the dotcom boom and bust as well, but amazing wealth overall was created. Alternative energy will be the same. Unfortunately for you and your oil friends, oil companies will not be the winners, if the US decides to invest in alternative energy. I know that will disappoint you. BTW, do you still think this recession has only cost the US $700B so far? Please spend some time getting educated on subjects before you post nonsense.
