>>china gdp growth reported at end of 2009 will be between 7.75-9%, full stop.

Are these numbers year on year or annualized quarter to quarter, as reported by most other countries? If they are year on year, the low end of your numbers are consistent with Hyman's. China 3Q year on year growth was 9%. So if 4Q yoy is 8%, it means a negative 1% from Q3 to Q4, or annualized negative 4%, a number worse than Hyman's.
