Re: A large fraction of the upper management... does not want just money but social status, being a top dog, being part of the "group" and perks.... So they want the private jets, private dining rooms, paid country clubs, limos, etc. It is sort of the business equivalent to the rock star life style. If they're busy worrying about that stuff, then they don't have time to worry about running their companies. Gid rid of 'em. The sooner the better. A job at the level of CEO should be desired for the pride and satisfaction of doing the job, not the money.
