Also, if it's an older furnace, check the control circuit board for an automotive type fuse. Much better than paying a service man $300 to plug in a new one! Your oven will heat your house. Open the broiler door beneath it, the oven door, set it for 140 and put a fan blowing into it on a chair in front. Instant emergency furnace! Alternatively, just live dressed bundled up.
