Good question, Hawk, and one that I hope is answered in the light of day....

I suspect the SEC's Cox will be forced to take one for the 'team' much sooner than expected.

Hopefully, Madoff's abrupt and unexpected "about face" will turn out to be the one loose thread that causes their tapestry to unravel and exposes the participants hiding behind it.
